COMPLIANCE MONITORING

All CoCs must have a process for conducting monitoring to ensure consistent participation of agencies who receive funding through ESG and Continuum of Care Grants.

Monitoring is designed to ensure not only compliance with State and Federal regulations but also adherence to CoC written policies and procedures as well as the agency's own written policies and procedures.

The Cape Fear Homeless CoC is in the process of refining its process and documents for monitoring as well as establishing a monitoring schedule.  As the guidance is developed, the information will be published on this page.

Grievances and Concerns

Program participants and homeless service agencies may file grievances or complaints concerning operations of CoC funded agencies with the Continuum of Care leadership. Complaints may be submitted in writing by printing and submitting the standard Grievance Form or using the webform below.

If you have a complaint, concern or grievance involving homeless services and homeless service agencies in our community, this information is provided to the CFHCoC monitoring committee who will review your concerns. Describe what happened. Give as many details as possible. Please be specific as to the situation, the outcome, problems encountered, names of witnesses to the event, conversations, etc.

The committee may contact you for more information and will respond to concerns in writing.
