Grievances and Complaints

Grievances

grievance is any dispute that a participant may have with respect to CoC member Agencies' action or failure to act in accordance with the program or project guidance that adversely affects the participant's rights, welfare or status.

Persons experiencing homelessness or those who are housed by CoC member agencies, may ask the CoC Oversight Committee to review their concerns about the member agency. When possible, grievances should be completed in writing. Service providers may assist vulnerable individuals and families with completing a grievance. To file a grievance regarding the Continuum of Care and/or a CoC member agency, complete the form found by clicking here.

Your grievance will be reviewed and investigated by the CoC Board's Oversight Committee. Findings related to grievances may be referred to the CoC Board for action.
