Planning Services Overview
Since its founding in 1972, the Cape Fear Council of Governments has been providing planning and zoning technical assistance to local governments in the region. Our services include both long-range and current planning products, such as:
- Long-Range Planning:
- Comprehensive plans, land use plans (including CAMA land use plans), hazard mitigation plans, park and recreation master plans, small area plans, and special studies.
- Current Planning:
- Development review, development regulations, zoning administration, and part-time or interim staffing.
