Homeless Services
What is the Homeless Continuum of Care?
The Cape Fear Continuum of Care (CoC), designated NC 506 by the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development is a community-wide alliance of service providers, local governments, health-care agencies, and other community stakeholders in Brunswick, New Hanover, and Pender counties. These entities share a common goal to make homelessness rare, brief, and non-recurring.
The Cape Fear Homeless CoC serves to maximize local impact and outcomes by fostering collaboration, reducing duplication of effort, leveraging needed resources for homeless services, and collecting and analyzing data on who is experiencing homelessness in our community.
About Membership
Membership in the Cape Fear Homeless CoC is FREE and new members are always welcome! All member voices are valuable and community members who have lived experiences (currently homeless or previously homeless) are encouraged to join! Members, both organizational and at-large, are responsible for keeping their contact information up to date as well as to attend meetings regularly and collaborate with partners for the good of our community!
